The deck was good. That was the problem. The issues were real. But nothing in it knew the site had moved from Drupal to AEM, or that the redirects behind that migration were done in JavaScript.

The deck said to optimize title tags, write meta descriptions, add H1s, improve internal linking.

Nothing in it was wrong. All of it is fixable in the authoring environment. None of it touches the equity still sitting on the old Drupal URLs, where it has been since the migration.

The deck would have been right if someone had told it about the redirects. The only person who could have told it already knew.
